Neolith Worktop Case Study: Falcon Park Development, Skipton Properties

Falcon Park is a development of 37 homes built by Skipton Properties in the market town of Settle.

It features a range of traditional house styles, all with views of the dramatic countryside of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. As such, Skipton Properties chose to style their Show Home and View Home traditionally but with a contemporary twist.

Thus, to fit with the styling in the brief, Neolith was selected, lending the kitchen the classical beauty of Calacatta Marble but the technical advantages of Neolith’s true sintered stone form.

I’ve always loved marble, specifically the Calacatta marble that Neolith replicates so well. As a house builder, you have to choose a surface that will be liked by all. Our clients would like the style, but most wouldn’t want the risk of staining that comes with it. Therefore, Neolith was the perfect choice.

The design teams the Neolith Calacatta worktop with a matching upstands, windowsill and splashback, showcasing the beauty of the sintered stone handsomely and allowing the marble pattern a continuous and uninterrupted flow.

Neolith adds a real sense of luxury to the space and successfully redefines the traditional.
