J. Rotherham to launch Gemini Quartz and Aurea Stone at KBB 2018

Showcasing all new colours in Gemini Quartz® and the preview of Aurea Stone, the first range of Quartz 2.0 to launch in the UK at KBB 2018 – Stand W80, Hall 17.

Returning to KBB, J. Rotherham, one of Britain’s oldest and most innovative stone masonry companies will be taking a leap back into the market with a drive on Quartz worktops. The company will be showcasing all new colours in their bestselling Gemini Quartz® range, as well as presenting a UK exclusive preview of Aurea Stone, the world’s most realistic marble effect quartz stone.

“One of the main features this year will be a preview of Aurea Stone®, which will be exclusive to us in the UK when we launch this summer. This brand really is something special and we are proud to be launching the Quartz 2.0 movement.”

Matt Rotherham, Managing Director

Aurea Stone is an all new quartz brand focused exclusively on creating the most realistic marble effect colours, “the brightest and whitest on the market”. The brand offers a new generation in engineered stone – Quartz 2.0.

Quartz of the earlier generation had more 2D characteristics which often appear more blurry and washed-out – but, thanks to advanced PHI technology©, high definition details and a depth of translucency in its surface makes Aurea Stone a closer match than ever before.

Installed into over 15,000 kitchens in 2017, Gemini Quartz® is the company’s best-selling worktop range. J. Rotherham has grown the range to offer the most diverse collection for application across a large spectrum of surface design needs at highly competitive prices.

The collection has been expanded to offer 40 colours over 5 distinct series, including the stand out Mythology Series, which incorporates everything that is beautiful in exotic granites, yet with a durability and performance of innovative Gemini Quartz® stone.

Also brand new to the range is the Concrete Series, which offers stand-out concrete effect colours in a matt honed finish to satisfy the need for surface textures that achieve raw, stripped back design themes.

Demonstrating the depth of stonemasonry skills J. Rotherham can offer, on display are two of the company’s special kitchen Island designs. Developed in house and designed by Jamie Rotherham, the two islands will act as a launch for a new collection of specialist worktop designs that add unique style and individuality to the kitchen, in a range of themes from traditional to futuristic.

KBB 2018 takes place between 4th -7th March 2018 at the NEC in Birmingham.
